Not barred by personal opinion or anything but there is no better way to cook than a simple and wonderful One-Pot recipe. When we are able to cut corners on prep times, instructions and most importantly dishes then everyone’s a winner. I was inspired to make this while looking for an easy meal to throw together while keeping the wife happy. She is a huge fan of broccoli and cheese (mainly) so I put together this One-Pot cheesy pasta skillet. Fresh flavors and colors mingle together gracefully.

Grocery List

Dry Ingredients

In the Kitchen

  1. Toss chicken pieces into a mixing bowl.

  2. Coat chicken with dry ingredients

  3. Turn stove to medium-high and add oil to pan.

  4. Add seasoned chicken to the hot sauce pan.

  5. Cook for 10 - 12 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink.

  6. Toss in broccoli florets, dry pasta, chicken bouillon and water.

Stir; then bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to medium-low and cover tightly.

  8. Simmer stirring occasionally for about 10 - 15 minutes or until pasta and broccoli are al dente and just about cooked.

  9. Once most of the water has been absorbed you can add the heavy whipping cream.

  10. Add shredded cheese a handful at a time and mix well.

  11. Once all the cheese has been added, continue to mix until the cheese has fully melted.

  12. Cover tightly and let simmer on low heat for an additional 3-5 minutes stirring once or twice.

  13. Remove from heat and serve.

  14. Refrigerate leftovers immediately in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Note

  • Buy pre-cut broccoli florets and shredded cheese to save on prep time.
  • Transfer to an oven safe dish, sprinkle with a ¼ cup of breadcrumbs and bake on broil until golden brown for an amazing cheesy bake.

Toss some of our Banging Bruschetta right on top for a savvy twist.
